This is actually an history of Statistics rather an an introduction to Statistics. Don't expect to learn any mathematics from this book.
It covers how statistics progressed and how people from different walks of life, not necessarily mathematicians have contributed to statistics. It also highlights how different problems faced by these people have led to the development of Statistics as we know it now.
A decent read to understand the history of Statistics.
