The Bankster by Ravi Subramanian

The BanksterThe Bankster by Ravi Subramanian
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Greater Boston Global Bank (GB2) is a typical private bank. The Relationship Managers are being asked to increase the business of the bank by any means.

A high ranking official in the bank uses his closeness to the CEO seemingly hires the people he wants and pushes the people he wants to higher ranks. All the time he is two timing his wife and having an affair with the HR head of the bank.

Things go out of hand when the person responsible for detecting any fraud activities in the bank starts asking difficult questions. A banker is killed in a seemingly hit and run accident. The fraud detector another colleague who has been close to him are found dead.

The author uses his knowledge of the inner workings of the banks to his advantage and weaves a compelling story around it.

A very good read. A much better read than any of his earlier books that I have read.
