Fuzzy Navel by J. A. Konrath

Fuzzy Navel (Jack Daniels Mystery, #5)Fuzzy Navel by J.A. Konrath
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A typical Jack Daniels novel. Alex has escaped from the prison and has created an impression that she has died.

Jack along with Herb is trying to stop a trio of snipers from shooting perverts. One of them shoots a bunch of police offices and Jack and a go at him.

When she tries to call home in the suburbs of Chicago only to find that she is unable to reach. She sets off home to find out what the issue is. Her fiance was also to be with her mother.

When she reaches home she is trapped by Alex and the trio of snipers, each after her for personal reasons.

Alex makes Jack bring in Harry and Phin into the house.

What ensues is a game of cat and mouse between Jack and the others. Jack trying to protect her near and dear ones and the others trying to eliminate her and others.

A good read for fans of J. A. Konrath.
