Immortal Talks by Shunya

Immortal Talks (- Book 1)Immortal Talks by Shunya
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Unlike the book https://chintanaigal.blogspot.com/201... of the same author, this book does not live up to the expectations. There are sections where the author seems to have lost it in trying to convince the readers that there is a scientific theory behind what is being philosophised. The book would have been much better if the author had stuck his guns rather than trying to provide a scientific reasoning for the philosophy being propounded.

The book revolves around the tribe mahtangs who are devotees of Hanuman. This is used to explain how destiny can be determined by definite action now and today and that not everything is predestined. One can "rewrite" one's destiny by having a tremendous faith in the One above and leading an ethical life.

A decent read, if one can ignore the above mentioned sections which is actually spread through the book.
