My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This book has two stories False Truth by Diane Capri and Spy Girl by Jillian Dodd.
The first one one is about a rookie journalist who has joined journalism to track down her mother's killers is in competition with her male classmate to retain the job as the company is facing a fiscal crunch. While her male classmate has things going in his favour she has to struggle and fate keeps playing with her life. On hand it seems to be throwing up opportunities in her way and on the other it seems to be snatching it away from her.
How she copes up with these challenges and still succeeds is what the book is all about.
The second one is about a girl who has been trained by a super secret school within the US to be a master spy. On her first assignment she is sent to a country to protect the would be king. In the process she as a lot of support from others on the ground (most of who are males). She finds herself falling in love with the would be king and also one other high profile person.
How she and her assistants manage the show for the new "to be king" is what the book is all about.
An OK read.
