Shivaji: The Grand Rebel by Dennis KincaidMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Don't start the book assuming that it is a new book. It is a very old book which is worth reading. The book was written in the mid 20th century.
The British author has lived and learned a lot about India. So much so that he can speak, no not Hindi. but Marathi. His curiosity led him to research on Shivaji and based on these interviews the book has been created.
It starts with the birth of Shivaji and ends with the death Shambaji his son.
A good read even if you have studied the history of Shivaji as part of your history class.
