Adam Braun is doing a great job of educating the under privileged around the globe. He was inspired during his journey around the world as part of his Semester at Sea (seems a very interesting concept) where a child he meets says that all he needs is a pencil. This made a deep impression on his and he gave up his privileged job in a top financial company to start "Pencil for Purpose".

He has helped underprivileged in setting up schools. The main places he speaks about in the book are Laos, where he starts off and of Ghana. He has over hundred schools.

Hope there are more such people around the world.
