My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A must read for all the people trying to setup their own business. He starts the book with a statement that I completely concur with and has been on my mind for a very long time. "Does a business really need to keep growing month on month, quarter on quarter and year after year. Is it not sufficient that one is able to sustain the business and make a decent living?" I for one fail to see why businesses feel the pressure to keep growing at all costs. Sustenance, in my opinion, is more important than growth. See the extract from the book.
It is stressed that quality is more important than growth. It is important that the customers are satisfied with the product/service being delivered and keep coming back for more as the quality they get is good. This is more important than growth.
It goes on to talk about how bureaucracy can severely hamper the success of the organization and why it is important to share all knowledge with everyone on board.
A very nice read.
