Ginger gold in on board the SS Rosa on her way from America to the UK. Her companion is the nurse who looked after her father in his last days.
The captain has a roving eye and there is an enchanting American actress to catch his attention. He has one eye on Ginger too. Amidst the dances and dalliances the captain is murdered.
Ginger joins hands or rather pokes her nose into the dashing inspector's work and solves the mystery.
A good read.
