A book different from the normal spy other thrillers. A lawyer gets shot somewhere in Russia or Turkey?
The book traces the reasons behind this through the son of the owner of the law firm.
Single and Single is a law firm which helps the firms launder their ill gained wealth. The father is running the show and when the son comes of age he joins the firm. But is disillusioned with the workings of the firm. The firm starts laundering money for a Russian firm. Russia is on the cusp of Perestroika and Glasnost. Soon the firm finds that its contacts in the Government are not going to help it make the money it had planned and it moves into the more lucrative trade of plying narcotics. The son spills the beans to a customs officer and the client suffers huge losses.
This leads to the killing of the lawyer from his firm. The father tries to run away from the firm by trying to be friendly with them. In the end the son goes and rescues his father from their clutches.
