Sons of Fortune - Jeffrey Archer

Sons of FortuneSons of Fortune by Jeffrey Archer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A typical Archer read. This time again involving politics and elections of the US of A. A potboiler for Indian Bollywood cinemas. I am surprised somebody has not come up with a movie based on this. Maybe they are scared to lift without Lord Archer's permission.
The story of two twins, separated at birth and brought up by different parents, not geographically distant from each other. But they end up as political rivals because of the political affiliations of the family in which they were brought up.
One ends up defending the other in a court case where the other is accused of murder although they are set to stand against each other for the position of Governer of Connecticut.
The climax is when one of them suffers and accident and the other donates blood (since it is a rare group AB -ve) the doctor performing the transfusion learns of the secret and reveals the same to them.
All in all a good read.
