Most of the company's employees were fresh out of the college with dreams of working in a development project and that too to work in a specific coding language. The Company complied and let the people select the projects (there were none to go round for all in the first place.) As a result the company stagnated, the people stagnated.
They had adopted the strategy that we will not do "Body Shopping" as we want to go public and we not want to project ourselves as one other "Body Shopper" amongst the teeming milieu. Noble thoughts, but impractical from earning perspective.
Here was a company that had not standing in the market, not proven track record and it expected clients to give projects to be developed by a bunch of unknowns.
Although many in the company pointed out the faults, the management chose to ignore it.
