A deep sea diver is engaged by a seemingly rich American to dive to retrieve ship which has sunk. He soon finds that the ship that he has been asked to dive for has not sunk, instead it sinks in front of his eyes.
He is caught in a web of deceit and intrigue where he does not know whom to believe and whom not to. He goes about doing his work and in the process he is almost killed.
