Had been avoiding reading the book as somewhere along the line I got convinced that it has too much fantasy to be enjoyed. Finally when I got around to reading the book I have to change my mind and agree that it is a book worth reading.
The first of the series begins with Harry Potter being left to live with the uncle and aunt and his abominable cousin. After ten years he is called to the Hogwarts to study magic. He arrives and thrives at the school.
Harry helps secure the Philosopher's Stone from the dreaded Voldemort who has killed his parents.
A very Good Read.
