Have been hearing about this book for a long time and finally got around to buying and reading the book. So was it worth? Just hold.

The book is about three women and a man who is involved in their lives. An alcoholic ex-wife "The Girl on the Train" who travels to London everyday by train looking into her old residence where her ex-husband is living with his present wife, and another house close to her old residence where there seems to live a happy couple. Thanks to the traffic signal her train stops everyday at the same point and she is able to observe their life as a time lapse.

Then she happens to see an incidence which seems to shatter her illusion of the happy couple in the house she observes every day.

She sets off to find out what is actually happening.
