No Room at the Inn by Jeffrey ArcherA young man is traveling through Italy. Towards the end of his journey, short of cash, he reaches a small town and finds out that it has only two places of boarding. One he cannot afford and in one he is told by the beautiful girl at the counter that there are no rooms.
The girl relents and asks him to go up to the top floor and she says that he will try to accommodate him in a spare room.
