Murder At the Rocks by Jill Paterson

Murder At The Rocks (Alistair Fitzjohn Mystery #2)Murder At The Rocks by Jill Paterson

Picked up this book as it was based in Australia. Haven't read too many books based in this country or should I say continent.

A typical murder mystery, but interesting enough to hold one's attention.

A jeweler's son returns from his sabbatical after the death of the jeweler. He has a confrontation with his uncle who has been running the business after his father's retirement. The jeweler has left everything to his son, who refused to join the business, much to the frustration of his brother who was hoping to take over the business.

The uncle is murdered and detective Inspector Fritzjohn investigates the murder.

A good read.
