A bad read. One simple recommendation AVOID reading and AVOID wasted time and frustrated times.
The book is about a beautiful lady from Rajasthan who marries a handsome doctor based in Mumbai. She as hag as her step mother-in-law. She loses her first son in an accident which the step mother-in-law takes full advantage of and blames her for all the problems in the house. The lady leave for her maternal house in a huff and refuses to come back to live under the same roof with the step mother-in-law.
The distraught husband buys a new bungalow by the seaside and brings her back home. She brings a precocious orphan girl to live with her. The bungalow has a past history of a gay man having died in it waiting for his lover and he house tries to kill her second son too even as she is carrying him. She bargains the child's life for separation from him when time comes.
The house manages to ruin her marriage life. The husband drifts apart from her, the orphan girl fails in her attempt to marry a rich English prince-ling, her health fails her, he best friend dies and she keeps her promise to send her son away.
A meandering story with no premise.
